Job Description
Our financial client is seeking an IT Solution Delivery Manager for their financial markets front office and back offices as well as compliance. The main responsibilities of this team includes analysis and requirements gathering, project management, development and support of local applications and data marts (Cognos), and functional support for all local and global applications for the trading floor. This is a global company and coordination with European colleagues and external vendors will be required.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work directly for the CIO-Americas and functional for the head of the Financial Market delivery team based in Europe.
Closely work with the heads of the trading desks to understand their needs and recommend solutions that meet the target operating model framework and security control
Mentor, lead and guide your team members.
Responsible for the hire, fire and review of respective team members. Must have an Agile minded way of working
Have a deep understanding of major business areas, processes, Financial Market products and regulations to interact effectively with senior managers and executives outside of IT, such as FINRA, CFTC and
Create and support IT architecture solutions and strategy. Fully understand the need for building technology products that make the platform safe and
Lead or actively participate in various global Target Operating Model related applications, infrastructure and IT Controls initiatives
Will be fully engaged in all major Change Management decisions, have strong opinions about impact to people, process and technology.
Ensure 24/7 support for the critical business/non-business applications using local/global support model


Education:
Bachelors or Master s degree in Information Technology or Equivalent Series 7 and/or 99 preferred
Agile Scrum Master Certification preferred

Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in managing small/medium application development team/s
Minimum 3-5 years of software development life cycle experience
Extensive knowledge of the Financial Markets products (Equity/Credit/FX/Interest Rate Derivatives)
In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
Knowledge of Broker/Dealer and Swap Dealer related regulations such as, TRACE, EMIR, MIFID, Dodd-Frank and Basel-III
High level knowledge of programming languages (Python), databases (SQL*Server), file transmission protocols (MQ, SFTP)
Excellent communication & inter-personal skills
Excellent Visio, Power Point, Excel and documentation skills
Capable to function under stressful conditions
Capable of handling multiple projects/demands
Drive to solve functional issues for users and to accomplish the project targets
Flexible and learning capacity to adapt to on-going changes
